One of the most reliable routes to world peace is for people to share their sacred experiences without getting snarled in religious divisions. Each religion has a unique bouquet of love, harmony, and beauty. Taken all together, these varied bouquets bring a powerful healing fragrance to our world. Here is your place to offer encounters with the Divine nearest to your heart.

The Declaration

  1. 1.We recognize the “secular nature of our State”. This is to ensure that while Singaporeis multi-racial and multi-religious, followers of all religions are equal in our society.
  2. We show our commitment towards promoting social cohesion in our society, and
  3. Respecting each other’s freedom of religion.
  4. We shall always “grow our common space” “while respecting our diversity”. Bigger common space does not have to be achieved at the expense of our individual identities. With better understanding, both can grow together.
  5. We make efforts to “foster inter-religious communications”. More communications always help reduce conflicts.

By practicing these values, we will ensure that religion will not be abused to create conflict and disharmony in Singapore. All religions believe in peace, love, and compassion. We want to make sure adverse acts are not committed in the name of religions.

We hope everybody would respect all the above points and together, we can make the world and our country a peaceful place to stay.

Our History

Three ex-Directors of a paranormal group in Singapore officially formed the Truth Spiritual Seekers Organization on 9th December 2006. It was by chance they got together and realized the abilities to do more for the people of all races and religion. It is with these humble thoughts that they left and formed up this new Organization.

We looked at our very own motherland - Singapore with a population of about four million people, most of whom is Chinese followed by Malay, Indian and others. Each of this groups have their own language, cultures and respective religion.

Singapore recognize the importance of religion to its people, and how inflamed people can become about religion. Each insisting that their idea of God is the only idea of God, and their religion is the only true religion.

Our government states that there would be no overt discrimination and everyone is regarded equal. Thus, the idea of having a Code on Religious Harmony was first proposed by our former Prime Minister, Mr Goh Chok Tong, in October 2002.

The Declaration affirms the importance of, and Singaporeans’ commitment towards, religious harmony. It is a basis for Singaporeans to reflect on religious harmony, and what should be done to achieve it.

This Declaration by the “people in Singapore”, including Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or foreigners who work and live here temporarily. Everyone has a stake and a part to play. It recognizes that religious harmony is vital for the peace, progress, and prosperity in our multi-racial and multi-religious Nation. Religious harmony can only be strengthened if we continue to practice mutual tolerance, confidence, respect and understanding.
